Madison County residents (Excluding Citizens of Richmond or Berea) can recycle Electronics and E-Waste at 325 N. Madison Avenue. This service is available Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.  County Residents can also bring the following items to our location:

• mattresses
• box springs  
• couches,
• recliners,
• kitchen tables,
• furniture,
• hot water heaters,
• hot tubs (cut up in pieces),
• basketball goals,
• refrigerators,
• deep freezers,
• stoves,
• washers and dryers,
• dishwashers,
• rolls of carpet up to 3’ long,
• grills,
• lawn furniture,
• large children toys, and
• swing sets.

We do NOT accept the following:

• Landscaping debris (trees, brush, etc.)
• Household trash
• Paint
• Oil
• Batteries
• Chemicals
• Pesticides
• Household hazardous waste

You MUST check in with the Road Department Office before unloading items into any of the disposal containers.
