The Madison County Road Department administration recently completed a Roads Scholar Certification Program through the University of Kentucky at the Kentucky Transportation Center. The Roads Scholar Program is a 12-week program, designed to provide local and state government employees with basic information on maintaining local streets and roads. Completion of this program leads to the designation of 'Roads Scholar.'

Our Road Department will be completing the 'Road Master' Program through the University of Kentucky as well in the year 2017. Once completed, our County road administrators will have received the highest level of certification offered by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
